One of the best and most difficult -but not less enjoyable- Dickens’ books. Many believe that Dickens should be read primarily by younger people, and that is quite wrong. He is a great, gifted story-teller, able to transfer the reader right in his own time and world, where like in a time travel he/she can experience London and in this book, Paris too, with all their historical tribulations running at that time. The characters sprung from the pages and are ready to take you in this dark era of the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror.

book the first : Recalled to life
book the second : The golden thread
book the third : The track of a storm
